Description

Released by Probe in 1972, cat # PRO 580; this is “If I Could Only Be Sure” / “Work It Out In The Morning” by Nolan Porter.

There is a slight edge warp that you notice when playing the A-side. The warp does not affect play, but you can detect slight background noise in the first few seconds of play.

Both labels have some spots of discolouration and the B-side label has a ringmark. The A-side playing surface has a couple small marks and is visually in excellent condition. The B-side has more surface marks and looks in very good condition. Playing, both sides have a bit of crackle at the start which soon clears. The record comes in the correct company sleeve.

All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The majority of the collection is mint or unplayed! All of these are one-offs, no duplicates so miss them at your peril! For the full story on the collection, please see our “me” page.

Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.

Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.

I will combine multiple auction wins to reduce postage costs, so please remember to look at my other soul singles. Remember to bookmark us as your favourite seller – hundreds of soul singles still to come.
