The Projection Company was a fictional group name tacked onto
recordings by a real group headed by Jerry Cole who was working on demo tracks
for his RCA album The Id (3), among other works.
An associate of Cole sold the demo tapes to an unknown source
and many of the songs and other concepts by Jerry show up on many
releases on so called Budget labels,
under different names such as the The Stone Canyon Rock Group, The Animated Egg and Call It Soul! by
The Haircuts and The Impossibles to name a few.
