Description
Full-length LP from The Freak Scene titled "Psychedelic Psoul" reissued by Columbia (CS 9456) in 2008. Originally released in 1967. Rusty Evans studio band effort that followed his groundbreaking psychedelic project The Deep. Whereas The Deep had a garage psych production, The Freak Scene was more refined while employing all the psychedelic studio tricks; echoes, tape manipulations, backward guitar solos, sitars and left/right speaker pinging. This was an early example of psychedelic produced records that would flood the market soon after. Excellent relic from our favorite era in pop music!
