This is the LP by The 13th Floor Elevators titled "The Psychedelic Sounds Of The 13th Floor Elevators". "Masterfonics" is stamped in the dead wax. LP was originally released in the US on International Artists (IA LP 1) Records in 1966. Record Looks Unplayed. You will not find a nicer copy of this very rare LP!

 

   

I can not stress enough how bright and clean this LP is including very sharp corners. This could be Christmas 1966 it looks so fresh. This LP came into my store in the early 90's and at that time it was still sealed. I opened it, played it once with a high end Grado G+ cartridge in order to transfer it to a Metal grade cassette. It has been sealed in a Japanese poly LP bag in a low light room since that time. This is such an important LP. I do not normally editorialize like this in my ads but this LP is just that beautiful ( I now step down off of my soap box, thank you very much!).

 

 

 

      LP contains the following 12 tracks :

    A1, You're Gonna Miss Me A2, Roller Coaster A3, Splash 1 (Now I'm Home) A4, Reverberation A5, Don't Fall Down B1, Fire Engine B2, Thru The Rhythm B3, You Don't Know B4, Kingdom Of Heaven B5, Monkey Island B6, Tried To Hide              

      Cover/LP is in VG++/M- Condition. There is a 1/2" split - centerof spine. LP looks unplayed, no marks around center hole. M- is the highest grade I use on unsealed albums. M- is the highest grade I use on unsealed albums.

I was the owner of an independent record store in Seattle for almost 20 years. It kills me to sell some of these rare items, but I have gone back to college (at 47!) and need the money for tuition
