Yo! Bum Rush the Show is the debut studio album by American hip hop group Public Enemy, released on February 10, 1987. It was recorded at Spectrum City Studios in Hempstead, New York and became one of the fastest-selling hip hop records, but was controversial among radio stations and critics, in part to the politics and subject matter.
Public Enemy didn’t start as revolutionaries; the incendiaries they threw were rhymes. They were B-boys first and grew into revolutionaries. This is a tour de force from Chuck and Flav, but Public Enemy were just starting to roll.
This is the original UK pressing from 1987, in it's original polythene cover from when it was brought in Virigin.
