Public Image - First Issue - Vinyl LP

This is an original LP on the Virgin Records label from 1978.

Album cover is in near mint condition with only minor wear on the front and back.

This is the debut studio album by Public Image Ltd (aka PiL). It was John Lydon’s (formerly Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols) first major project after the Pistols’ breakup. It shocked critics and fans by being something entirely new, laying the groundwork for post-punk. Notable songs are Public Image, Theme, Religion I / Religion II, Annalisa, and Fodderstompf.

I will ship via USPS Media Mail which is $5.22. I will combine shipping at my cost. eBay adds $1.50 for each additional album. I package items very securely using a box that costs me almost a dollar a pop.

I can’t test the record itself as I haven’t had a turntable in over 30 years. I have kept these upright and indoors (not in a garage, basement or storage unit) that whole time. I always held my albums correctly and used a Discwasher when I played them. (Read the feedback on albums I’ve just sold.) I finally decided it was time to sell all of these.
