Description

Public Image Limited - Metal Box 3 x Vinyl LP With ultra rare Lyric sheet issued in the NME from 1979 on Virgin. Catalogue No: METAL 1. Stunning triple vinyl 10 track avant garde post-punk album released in November 1979 coupled with the lyric sheet from the 1st December 1979 New Musical Express. Released initially in the metal box format which was quickly deleted and replaced with the more conventional Second Edition. All three vinyls play well with no jumps, track sheet has a couple of marks and creases. NME lyric sheet is in good condition but is rounded on the corners due to the shape of the casing, also has the song titles hand written as these were not originally listed.  Metal outer box has tarnished, particularly on the outside in the same manner as all the other copies I have seen. Paper inners between records are in good condition.  I have owned this since its 1979 release and it is a must have for any PIL fan or serious record collector.
