Description
Vinyl has been VPI-cleaned. LPs 1 and 3 are VG+, while LP 2 is more along the lines of VG (side one has a fairly deep, yet barely audible 1" scratch). In general, the LPs have a fair amount of hairline scratches and light scuffs, however, this is truly an example of a album that plays remarkably well despite it's imperfections. I've listened to this set in it's entirety, and these are the only flaws that I was able to detect-
-Occasional bit of crackle between some, but not all tracks -Albatross- slight pop, 8 seconds into track -Memories- pop just prior to the start of track -Poptones- audible scratch at very beginning of track for 3 revolutions -No Birds- 2 light pops at the very beginning of track (this accounts for the 1" scratch noted above) -Socialist- audible crackle during the first five seconds
Vinyl was play tested on an AR "The Turntable" with Sumiko Premier Tonearm + Denon DL-110 Cartridge. Grading scale is NM (used sparingly), VG++, VG+, VG, etc. LPs will come housed in plain white cardboard jackets with white paper inner sleeves. Includes wrinkled insert with tracklist. Original, rusted-out film canister has gone missing, so it will not be included.
