Description
Public Image Ltd METAL BOX 3 x 12" 45rpm black vinyl in a tin. Each piece of vinyl is separated by a circular white spacer sheet of paper (4 sheets in all). Includes original A5 insert. Original issue from Virgin in 1979, cat. no. METAL 1 (sticker still on the back of the tin).
This copy is signed by Johnny Rotten on the front of the tin. This is quite rare - I've not seen another copy.
Each of the three pieces of vinyl are in EXCELLENT condition; flat, clean, no warps, scuffs, scratches or finger marks and all retaining a bright sheen. I played it through this morning - a little surface noise between tracks but no skips. NOTE: It isn't very common to find the vinyl in this condition as the tin makes it notoriously difficult to get the vinyl out! I found the best way is to carefully empty all three pieces out at the same time, upside down on a flat surface.
The tin itself has the usual 'finger mark' tarnishing that comes with age, but it has no dents and is easy to open.
