Public Image Ltd - PIL - Metal Box 3 x 12" Vinyl - 1979 UK Virgin Original. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
Here we have a copy of the rare 'Metal Box' by Public Image Ltd (PIL), released in 1979. This is an original copy with the original set list insert and three paper dividers. Records will be packaged outside of the box during transit to ensure safety.
The box is pretty worn as you can see from the photos. Lots of marks and rust. If you have some metal treating products you may be able to restore it to a better condition but as it stands it's pretty rough. Structurally it's fine with no dents or dings, purely aesthetic issues.
The discs are really nice, a couple have some signs of use and wear as expected for a set of this age. Light scratches etc on pretty much all of the discs but none that are severe. Would conservatively grade at VG, although a couple of the sides may be more VG+.
One thing to note is the misaligned label on side-E, where some of the label overlaps the last few grooves of the track. As you can imagine, it creates some unpleasant noise, but only for a couple seconds of the song. Would suggest picking up the needle as soon as the track finishes.
