Description

Nice original example of the 1979 UK first pressing of PiL's Second Edition, the double album version of Metal Box (Virgin VD2512).


The album has been kept in a PVC cover since purchase and the sleeve is mostly excellent, apart from an area where stickers have unfortunately removed the gloss in the top right corner of the front cover (photo 4), some slight edge wear, and some areas of slight discolouration to the silver/grey finish (see photos). The spine is excellent with no tearing or crushing. The plain inner sleeves have no tears, but have significant discolouration, I believe from the outer sleeve card.


The vinyl is mostly excellent to near mint, with just a couple of superficial hairlines and very minor occasional crackle and surface noise apparent in between songs. All four labels are excellent.

All records are packed in professional mailers with double stiffeners and bubble wrap, with records removed from sleeves to prevent tearing.
