This    could    be    heavvveeeeennnnaaaaaa.

An absolutely stunning copy of  Metal box.

The vinyl is in as near mint condition as you will ever find.

Please see detailed descriptions below.

The metal box has been stored carefully since the album was bought

by myself on release day and is in excellent condition.

The track list insert is also in very good condition.

Disc 1 A side  three tiny superficial surface marks near the begging of the track, that's it.

Disc 1 B Side  Absolutely pristine, no marks or scratches, not even the finest of hairlines.

Disc 2 A side  Absolutely pristine, no marks or scratches, not even the finest of hairlines.

Disc 2 B Side  One tiny superficial hairline about 2mm on the run in of the disc.

Disc 3 A side  Absolutely pristine, no marks or scratches, not even the finest of hairlines.

Disc 3 B Side  One extremely fine superficial 5mm hairline near the start of 'Socialist'.

I am being very very picky here and have mentioned everything I can see in hard critical daylight.

You will have to look very closely and at specific angles to see the marks mentioned above

Nothing affects the sound quality in  the slightest.

As well as the care I have taken looking after this album, I think a contributing factor for the discs being in such

pristine condition is down to the metal box packaging.

The fact that you don't need to take the records in and out of  the usual type of paper inner sleeve means that

the usual scuffs and hairlines you would normally see on a album that has been played simply aren't there and

the vinyl looks freshly pressed.

There is one notable mark on the cover of the box which you can see in the bottom right quarter of it

in the listing image.

The insert is in excellent condition.

Because it is loose in the box it unavoidably moves around and comes into contact with the edges of the tin.

Because of this the corners do get a little dogeared. I think this is unavoidable and would imagine that all

copies will suffer the same slight  damage.

Unless otherwise stated every record was purchased by myself from new and only ever played

by myself on my own deck and with as expensive a cartridge as I could afford at the time.

When it comes to attributing a grading to each of my records I will confess I am not an expert.

And while both the Goldmine standard and The Record Collectors systems give us a number of agreed fundamentals

to help determine a grading for vinyl and its associated media, attributing a true and accurate grading to something as

individual as a pre-owned piece of Vinyl is unavoidably subjective.

One person's 'slight scuff' may be another's deal breaker.

With this in mind I will endeavour to describe as accurately as possible, in the descriptions of each listing,

not only what I feel to be a fair grading, but also an overall description of the record in question, along with details

of any and all marks, defects and anomalies I can see.

I am a firm believer in the maxim of - if you can feel it you can hear it.

So if there is anything that looks or feels like it may possibly affect a record's playing quality or sound clarity,

and therefore the pleasure derived from listening to it or its true value to an collector, I will give it one final spin

and make my findings known in the product description.

Over and above this I am happy to take returns.

I personally wouldn't bid on a pre-owned record without the option to return it if I felt that the seller hadn't been

totally truthful and transparent in their description of it, or that on receipt it didn't live up to my expectations.

And I do not expect you to do so either.

So please, feel free to bid with confidence.

I am a professional photographer by trade, and have gone to great lengths to light and photograph covers, inner sleeves

and the vinyl's themselves in such a way as to show, as accurately as possible, the actual condition of all.

Rest assured that what you see is exactly what will be despatched to you if you are the successful winner of each listing.

Before photographing each record went through a three stage cleaning process:

1 - Removal of any surface dust with a light brushing over with a carbon fibre and velvet disc cleaning pad

2 - Deep cleaning with large (Big Fudge) velvet pad and cleaning solution

3 - A final brushing with a Pro-Ject carbon fibre record brush.

And finally, because Mr or Mrs  Poasty may not handle your record with the same care and reverence that you or I would,

I will dispatch in a specialised corrugated cardboard record mailing outer, and if I feel even more protection is required

I will also include two extra sheets of 3mm corrugated cardboard for added safety and protection.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and for showing an interest

in giving a new home to one of my records.

I have other listings live right now and will be adding new ones on a regular basis,

so please do take a peak and stay tuned for more.
