Puccini Turandot Mehta UK Decca SET 561-3 NEW
Justly famed recording of Puccini’s Turandot with Sutherland, Pavarotti, Caballe et al at their finest, as is the London Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta, and not to be overlooked - Decca’s recording engineers. A three record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SET 561-3). This set is still sealed.
This record is one of a collection of records that had never been played. Some are sealed*, some have a store seal** and the rest are in mint condition.
* very few records outside the U.S. were ever shrink wrapped and it was only toward the end of the LP Era that this became common.
**Some record stores in Australia before being placed on their racks would attach a seal, either to the opening of the cover, or over the inner bag.
