In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. SCARCE 1973 "QUADRAPHONIC" with different song mixes from the 'normal' known 1971 release...
Includes the original printed SQ inner sleeve with photos of vintage Quadraphonic equipment as well as, on reverse side, the collectors guide to quadraphonic sound overview for consumer understanding...
The 1973 Quadraphonic original issue uses a then, specially designed SQ decoder permiting the a 4 channel sound separation (as opposed to the regular 2 channel) when playback is through the quad system or even surround sound receiver, resulting in completely different song mixes that can be detected even on the 'normal' stereo system. The record company changed around the song mixes (sounding like things were added) to enhance the quadraphonic 4-channel listening experience....
Hear the alternate song mixings of: "ROUGH AND READY" featuring Jeff Beck's 1971 blast of creativity with fire-breathing guitar work...in combination with Bob Tench's soaring, gritty soul-drenched vocals, Cozy Powell's thunderous, jaw dropping, yet always right in the moment drumming... Beck found some sympathetic players that let him rip off wang-bar bending guitar nirvana when needed, but also find the pocket of the song. Special mention must go to keyboardist vextraordinaire, Max Middleton, who went on to play on "Blow By Blow". A classy and tasteful player who never got the notices he deserved at the time.
There is devastating Beck guitar playing throughout this LP and the Mk2 lineup went on to make only one more record together, before BECK jumped into the superstar trio that would be Beck Bogert and Appice...
