A Kind Of Magic A4/B4
This very early pressing plays with stunning audio and the gatefold is one of the best I have ever seen. There is no spindle wear so I would say this has only been played once, maybe twice or perhaps never!

Visual grading
This vinyl is in near pristine condition and under a bright light I can only see one faint hairline on S1. Aside from that it is immaculate and S2 is visually stunning and looks as new. Both sides have that fantastic glossy sheen of new vinyl. This has possibly never been played before as there is no spindle wear at all and the labels are spotless, mega clean. This is a classic example of this early pressing.
Play grading
'One Vision' has with superb audio with only a small amount of static on the intro and ending. The rest of the track plays with excellent depth and clarity. 'A Kind Of Magic' if anything plays even better and grades as Near Mint without doubt, just the odd quiet dust tick. The classic 'One Year of Love' is also very impressive and the audio again plays with a tremendous depth. Yes there is a hint of intermittent but it is very much in the background. There are no clicks, pops or crackle and it's rare to find this track playing so clearly. 'Pain Is So Close To Pleasure' is stunning and I'm confident in grading it as Mint as the audio is immaculate. There is just no 'background' whatsoever and it quite simply plays as new. 'Friends Will Be Friends' plays with excellent power and no crackle, clicks etc just some light distortion in a few areas, mainly on the end section. This is common with this track on the early pressings where the grooves are pressed closer together in order to 'fit' the song onto the side. It still plays extremely well though!
This is definitely one of the cleanest 'Who Wants To Live Forever' intros I have heard as so often it will have a fair amount of crackle but here there is a minimal amount of static only. The remainder plays with wonderful quality with the orchestral ending playing in sublime fashion. I haven't heard a better version of this classic track in a long time. 'Gimme The Prize' has a minor amount of static at the beginning and then plays loudly and without distortion and no other issues. 'Don't Lose Your Head' is another track that can be graded as Mint, the sound quality is stunning, impossible to improve upon. The classic 'Princes Of The Universe' ends the album with stunning power and no distortion which is very rare for this track. You would have to travel a long way to hear a better version! It plays loud and true with wonderful power and range. A fantastic end to the album.
Gatefold cover
This gatefold is in superb condition for 31 years old, it is difficult to find a negative! The edges and wide spine have no shelf wear and the opening edge has no handling wear either. It has retained its strong and vibrant colours and there are no markings anywhere and the inside of the gatefold is immaculate. There is just one very small area of creasing by the opening edge on the back cover but apart from that this is a stunning example of this iconic cover.
Lyric inner
This is practically as new apart from a tiny amount of rubbing on a couple of corners. Hardly worth mentioning really! It is beautifully clean and is one of the best I have seen in a long time.
The labels
They are as new with no markings or writing and no spindle wear as already mentioned.
