QUEEN A Night At The Opera ROCK Vinyl Record 1st Pressing EMI 2/3 BLAIR'S 1975.
Queen at the peak of their stadium rocking power. A genuinely classic album that stands front and centre in every good record collection. Containing monster hits like 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'You're My Best Friend', this album transformed the way the studio was used...forever.
YAX 5063 - 2/YAX 5063 - 3 matrix indicate very early press. Sought after BLAIR'S etching in run-out.
VINYL: Pretty clean and tidy for its age - no major issues. There are a few surface hairlines when held up to the light but none of them are feelable or nasty in any way. There is a slight crackle and a few light pops that can be heard in the quieter bits. Luckily, most of the album is loud and rocking so this is not an issue. A great sounding record that deserves to be turned up to 11 and rocked out to!
LABEL: Excellent condition - no writing or marks.
ORIGINAL 3 DIE CUT PICTURE INNER: Excellent condition.
SLEEVE: Overall, the embossed gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. The outer cream cover has held its colour very well - one of the best examples you are likely to see, considering its age. The inside cream section is nearly perfect. Unfortunately a relative thought it would be a good idea at the time to write their name on the top right hand corner of the back cover. Luckily, it is quite small and neat. Despite this I am still confident grading it as VG+ because the rest of the sleeve is almost perfect.
This record has been play tested, honestly described and carefully graded.
