Description
This audio of this very early pressing (A3/B5) of Hot space is stunning. Under a bright light I can only detect a couple of fine hairlines on Side Two and it retains that glossy sheen of new vinyl. Visually it is stunning and the audio matches it. The quality is so good I would say this vinyl has been hardly played.
The audio on Side One is as near to Mint as you find. I heard no interference during the entire playback and plays with such depth it's amazing to think this vinyl is 33 years old. Side Two plays almost as well with perhaps just the slightest hint of static although barely audible. Towards the end of 'Las Palabras...' you can hear a few very light ticks but they really are so very minor they do not affect the listening enjoyment in any way.
Overall a fantastic listen and one that will not disappoint any fan. It is without doubt one of the best I have heard.
The cover is in excellent condition with only very slight shelf wear, absolutely minimal. The edges and spine are free of any wear and it has obviously been rarely handled or played for that matter. The bottom opening edge just has very minor rubbing but that's the worst that can be said about the whole cover! It is a superbly clean cover that looks like new at first glance.
The lyric inner (with curved corners) is in superlative condition with no splits and absolute minimal wear on the edges.
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system
