15th June 1973 Unreleased Mix UK Demo Pressing

EMI 2036

Reputedly, only 15-20 copies of this pressing survived. The release date on the label reads 15.6.73 - the eventual demo has the later date of 6.7.73 printed on the label. This version also lists Neptune Productions on the credits which is missing from the final demo release. As the story goes,  the wrong mix was sent for production, so all copies had to be returned. I obtained this directly from an ex-EMI employee who managed to grab a few copies before they were destroyed.

This record has never been played & has been carefully stored for 40 years. By all accounts this mix is very similar to the final version which is why I haven't been tempted to play the record in order to retain it's mint condition.

Mint - CD, Record or sleeve in brand new condition with no marks

Excellent - Record shows some signs of having been played. Vinyl or CD may have very light scratches or markings. Cover & packaging might have slight wear &/or creasing / minor seam damage. CD inserts may have dents from jewel case studs etc

Very Good - Record has obviously been played many times with noticeable surface marks. Cover & packaging may have more obvious defects / damage such as seam splits / heavy creases etc.
