Recorded between April and October 1972 ~ Australian release date: April 1974 (UK release date: 6 July 1973).

FIRST ISSUE with matrix numbers MX172198 and MX172199.

On offer here is an ULTRA RARE original AUSTRALIAN issue of the debut single by QUEEN.  Both tracks originally appeared on the group's self-titled album.

HOWEVER, WHAT MAKES THIS AUSSIE 45 COMPLETELY UNIQUE IS THAT THE LINES ‘The world expects a man, To buckle down and to shovel sh*t’ HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY EDITED OUT OF THE B-SIDE ‘Son And Daughter’ AT AROUND THE 55 SECOND MARK.  THIS RESULTS IN A SLIGHTLY SHORTER PLAYING TIME (3:16).
