ONLY EVER PLAYED 4 OR FIVE TIMES IN 32 YEARS!!!!!! UNBELEIVABLY HARD TO FIND EARLY MATRIX IN THIS CONDITION!!!!! IST PRESS EMBOSSED GARROD & LOFTHOUSE COVER!!!!! -2 MATRIX BOTH SIDES!!!! VERY VERY COLLECTABLE AND SOUGHT AFTER!! THE BEST AUDIO THAT I HAVE HEARD OF THIS PRESSING!!!!!

Extreemely hard to find an original 1st pressing with original cover (raised embossed crest on the front) and in near pristine condition (looks like new) try to find a better original!!!! with the earliest matrix available -2 -2!!!!!both sides Hard to find!!!!!!!!!

THIS WAS ORDERED AND PURCHASED 3 MONTHS PRIOR TO RELEASE IN THE UK AND IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST AND IS MUSEUM QUALITY!!!!!!!ALSO STORED IN A CASE FOR THE BEST PART OF 30 YEARS , THE VINYL SEPERATED FROM THE COVER TO STOP ANY EDGE SPLITS OR RINGWARE!! THIS IS HOW I HAVE ALWAYS STORED MY VINYLS!!!!

A Night at the Opera is a 1975 album by English rock band Queen. It was produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen!!!!!.

Recorded in 1975, the album reportedly was, at the time of its release, the most expensive album ever made.

Originally released by EMI in the UK and Elektra Records in the United States (also re-released in the US on Hollywood Records on September 3, 1991 with two bonus remixes), the album peaked at #4 and has been certified Triple Platinum (three million copies sold) in the US.!!!!!!

On 21 November 2005 it was again re-released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album and its first single, "Bohemian Rhapsody". This release is accompanied by a DVD with the same track listing featuring the original videos, old and new concert footage (including "'39" from the Queen + Paul Rodgers tour and Brian May on the roof of Buckingham Palace playing "God Save the Queen") and audio commentary by all four bandmembers. On the aforementioned commentary (and on In the Studio with Redbeard, which devoted an episode to A Night at the Opera) May stated that had the album not been a success, Queen certainly would have disbanded.!!!!!

The album, along with the follow-up album A Day at the Races in 1976, takes its name from the Marx Brothers film of the same name!!!!!!

In addition to all of this, the album is famous for not using any synthesizers throughout the recording of the whole album.

THIS IS IN SUPERBE CONDITION (NO SCRATCHES) ON THIS VINYL !!!!! ANY MARKS CAN ONLY BE SEEN IN EXTREEMELY STRONG LIGHT CAUSED FROM THE VINYL BEING SLID IN AND OUT OF ITS RECORD SLEEVE (PLEASE NOTE! THE AUDIO IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT) SO RARE TO FIND A 1ST PRESS IN THIS CONDITION!!!!!! I HAVE PLAYED THIS THROUGH TRACK FOR TRACK AND PLAYS BRILLIANTLY ON ALL FREQUENCIES!!!!!!!! TOP! TOP! AUDIO WILL BE SO HARD TO SURPASS!!! (NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE FROM THIS VINYL!!)

Please note! I always make this disclaimer!!!! It is all too easy to be critical about mid 70s pressings!! I have given my honest opinion as usual when describing this vinyl and the audio quality!!! Please allow for the odd static ticks\crackle (not consistant through out the audio! This is common on these 70s vinyls also this album has been stored in a case seperated from the cover in a poly sleeve for the best part of 30 years!! ,,, Constant cleaning before each play would benefit this vinyl as dirt and dust build up in the grooves are caused by the vinyl laying dormant for years!!!I honestly think this is one of the best that I have heard of this pressing! A point to note is that this is a genuine 32 year old vinyl and would have been originally played on a 32 year old system!!!

I would class myself as highly critical! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber! You will see that I normally get it right!!!!!

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING ''GARROD & LOFTHOUSE'' GATEFOLD COVER IN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CONDITION (THESE ARE NORMALLY FOUND VERY GRUBBY AS THEY ARE PRIMARILY WHITE IN COLOUR) THIS IS EXCEPTIONAL ,YOU WILL FIND IT HARD TO FIND BETTER (NO) SIGNS OF YELLOWING NOR ANY CREASINGS SO SO RARE AND THIS HAS THE EMBOSSED CREST ON THE FRONT ONLY FOUND ON EARLY PRESSINGS (LATER WERE NOT EMBOSSED AND ARE FLAT) CRISP SHARP CORNERS (NO) EDGE RUBBING!!!NEAR PRISTINE!!!!!! GRADED AT THE TOP!!!!!!!!!!
