This is the rare complete UK 1st Press of 'Queen II' by Queen. The record is complete with the very earliest 4U/4U crossed out matrix, the record is housed in the original die-cut lyric inner sleeve and the fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve. This album is in the most incredible Near Mint condition. It even has the original £2.99 shop sticker fully intact and never removed. It is 100% completely original. The owner always bought two copies of albums, he would listen once or twice, if he liked it he would buy another copy and put one away to keep. We are confident you will not be able to find a better example of this fabulous album.

The record is in Near Mint condition. The vinyl is absolutely sensational, every track gleams like new. You can twist and turn this album under every light and you will see just one hairline probably from the cardboard inner, but this is insiginificant is is in the most wonderful unplayed condition. The label is testament to its original sensational state. The colours are immaculate, there is no spindle wear, not even the very slightest spider mark. It is flawless. We very carefully played this album and we are pleased to say it sounds as good as it looks. Sensational. Queen albums are notoriously noisy, even the finest looking presses can be full of clicks but this is without doubt the finest we have ever heard. It turns with a very slight wobble at first but this is insignificant the sound is amazing. We have play graded many copies of Queen II over the years and this as close to perfect as you will ever get, exceptional audio seperation. On our turntable it is crystal clear, vibrant and silent in virtually all of the quietest moments. Absolutely stunning.

The original die-cut printed inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The incredible condition of this inner sleeve is also evidence of the fact that this album has been stored away. Very solid with absolutely none of the typical scuffs or marks. There is slight ring wear. The edges are extremely firm with NO splits and the white is immaculate.

The Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold laminated sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The laminate has an amazing polished high gloss and it is completely clean. The image is still extremely sharp and the edges are incredibly firm. The inside is immaculate. The white is crisp, the laminate is mirror like and the images and text are entirely unworn. There is just the slightest ring wear on the back. The spine is sensational. It is exceptionally solid and the text is superb. It still has the original shop £2.99 sticker that is in immaculate condition. This sleeve is the same as the day it left the shop.
