This is the rare UK 1st press of 'Sheer Heart Attack' by Queen. This genuine 1st press is complete with the earliest 4U/1U matrix, the original 3 corner die-cut sleeve and the earliest thin spine fully laminated sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. It has the most fabulous high gloss, every tracks looks sensational. There are just a few of the faintest hairlines on both sides but this record is in superb condition. The EMI labels look superb, completely unworn. The colour is bold and the text is sharp. There is only the slightest spindle wear. On playing the sound is exceptional - rich, bold and clear. As is common with Queen LPs there are moments of slight noise but certainly not due to any visible wear and nothing that spoils the enjoyment of the album at any point.
The record is complete with the original 2 corner die-cut inner sleeve is Very Good condition. The white has a little discolouration but is still bright and the text is sharp. There is a spilt on the bottom edge but the edges and corners are firm and the inner is still solid.
The 1st press laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. This record was stored in a sleeve for years and as such has remained exceptionally solid. The colours are lovely and bright, the laminate is extremely glossy and the images are sharp. The edges are very firm, there is just a laminate crease by the spine and corner. The whole cover still feels very solid and the rare thin spine is firm with clear text.
