On offer here is a superb box set of The Complete Works released in 1985. I have it on good authority from the previous owner that the records have never been played and under an intense bright light I cannot see a single hairline or scratch. The vinyls are quite simply in superb, Mint condition and I have not seen better. They are "as new" and definitely have the wow factor!All sleeves (with the embossed Queen crest) are also in Mint condition. They have no creases, pinches or tears and again are the best I have seen. This is quite rare as often you will find some creasing or where one or more the record has worn through especially on the spine. Again I cannot stress how good they are - absolute Mint quality, "as new" again. What is quite rare is that NOTW and HS do not have the embossed crest, just a plain white cover. It is quite well known that during the printing process this occurred on a number of occasions.
The box itself is in excellent condition and is certainly one of the better ones I have seen. All the corner are intact and there are only a few small marks but nothing serious at all. The pictures give a very good indication of the quality. The 'lid' and underside of the box are in a very clean condition which is quite rare.
The box set also contains three inserts, the first contains the album artwork and a UK single discography and the second is a world map which shows where Queen have appeared in concert and where they have charted. The third has a tour itinerary 1971-1985, a list of equipment they used and food and drink requirements! All are in Near Mint condition, just a few 'spots' on the tour itinerary.
You rarely find this box set in such excellent condition considering it is now nearly 30 years old. A highly collectable item and is definitely one of the best one I have sold.
