The Miracle A1/B2

This very first pressing is in superb condition.  The previous owner assured me that he only played it once in order to tape it...back in the day!  The audio pays testament to that and plays with amazing quality.

Visual grading

Under a bright light this vinyl is stunning.  There is just slight marking over a small area on the the first few grooves of each side but they have no affect on S1 and very little on S2.  I think this may have been caused during the manufacturing process.  There are no further hairlines or scratches and the audio is breathtaking.  There is a very minor warp (very very small!) but again has no affect on the sound quality.

Play grading  

Side One begins with barely any lead in static so you're already thinking this is going to play well!  It does not disappoint!  In all honesty I don't think I have ever heard a better first pressing.  Quite possibly this vinyl has never been played before, once or twice at most.  Every track on S1 plays with superlative audio and no interference at all.  No static, crackle, pops or jumps, the quality is sublime.  The clarity and precision of the sound is remarkable, it does sound like new.  There is complete silence between the tracks and the bass really comes through so clearly on this pressing.  Fantastic!

There is very slight static on the 'Breakthru' intro but it soon plays with perfect audio.  The intro to 'Scandal' plays with no background static and the tracks plays with Mint audio.  The remainder of the side plays with the same immaculate audio, sheer beauty!

This is a genuine final upgrade first press for certain.  If you don't mind the very minor warp then this A1/B2 pressing is the one to own.  An absolute classic - how often do you find a vinyl of nearly 30 years of age playing as well as this?!

Cover

The iconic cover is in near perfect condition except for a very small amount of shelf wear on the top two corners.  The edges and spine are in superb shape and there are no marks anywhere.  This is definitely one of the cleanest covers I have seen.

Lyric inner  

The lyric inner is just a shade off Mint.  The thumb notch has a couple of teeny tiny creases!

The labels

They are immaculate with no spindle wear or marks whatsoever.
