The Works A1/B2

On offer here is a superb first pressing of this classic LP.  I have rarely seen one in such amazing Mint condition and any fan would not be disappointed.

Visual grading

This vinyl is stunning visually and is in pristine condition.  I would say it has been hardly as there are no hairlines and only the slightest amount of spindle wear on the Side One label and none at all on the reverse side.  Unsurprisingly it retains that fantastic glossy sheen of new vinyl.  

Play grading  

Side One begins with no lead in static and 'Radio Ga Ga' then plays with sublime audio.  It belies its 32 years of age such is the depth and quality.  There is no interference and it sounds as new.  'Tear It Up' blasts through the speakers with Mint audio again as do the remaining two tracks.  I repeat there is absolutely no background noise at all on this side even during the quieter section of 'It's A Hard Life'.

'Machines..' continues the quality with impeccable sound.  Again all tracks on Side Two play with the same quality and there is complete silence between tracks.  I believe it would be impossible to improve upon this audio and is definitely a final upgrade copy.  I cannot stress just how good this vinyl is!  'Is This The World We Created..?' ends the side with perfect audio, no static and is without doubt the best version I have heard.

Cover

The cover can almost be graded as Mint but for the absolute minimum of shelf wear on the bottom opening edge.  Blink and you miss it though and most sellers would not even see it let alone mention it!  The edges and spine are in superlative condition and the cover itself is 100% clean with no marks.  For over 30 years old this cover has been superbly looked after.  

Lyric inner

The lyric inner is in perfect condition with no flaws at all.

Labels

The labels are also in Mint condition.

Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system.
