This first press of The Works has obviously hardly been played at all because the audio quality is absolutely stunning. In fact I do not think I have heard better. Play testing it I don't think I heard any background noise at all and looking under a bright light testifies to the fact that the vinyl is in stunning condition. The vinyl has that glossy sheen of a new record and I cannot detect any hairlines at all. 'Is This The World We Created...?' plays superbly for such a quiet track and not to hear any pops, crackles etc during it on a vinyl of this age is amazing! I very rarely grade my vinyls as Mint but this is as close to it as you will find. A wonderful vinyl for 30 years old. The winning bidder will not be disappointed.

The cover is in excellent condition with slight shelf wear on the bottom edge and also a small split to the right hand opening edge. Though only small it is a shame as otherwise it could be classed as Near Mint. Other than that there is no other wear and it retains a strong clean spine.
