Description
This very early press of The Works is in absolutely stunning condition for its age. Visually it is stunning with no hairlines or scratches to see. Such is the quality of the vinyl and the audio I doubt if it has been hardly played. There is no spindle wear which suggests this to be true. It is certainly the best I have heard.
Both sides have a little static at the beginning but from thereon it is pure unadulterated Mintness! With only the slightest hint of static on the remainder of the record this is as close to Mint as you will find in my opinion and I always grade honestly. It plays with a rich, deep audio you only get with vinyl, amazing for over 30 years old. Even the closer on Side Two, 'Is This The World Created..?' plays superbly well for such a quiet track. What a shine this vinyl has! It has a stunning gloss to it you think it was only pressed yesterday.
The cover is in excellent condition also. With lovely clean edges there are only two very minor concerns. Very slight pinching on the top corner and a small indent at the top of the spine. Aside from that it is as new and at first inspection looks just that.
The lyric inner (with curved corners) is in perfect shape with no wear or splits at all.
