Description

USA original 1959 rare Golden Records High Fidelity LP "Quick Draw McGraw and Huckleberry Hound TV's Favorite cartoon stars produced by Hanna-Barbera (LP 51 in mono) 19 great songs (way before the Hanna-Barbera record label existed, in fact I think this is the very first record related to these two LP wise), probably disappointing for kids back then (over 50 years old!) to flip over the record cover & see only black & white text besides the hound pointing with his hands open to what looks like two very boring "accountants" (definitely dressed for work & not cartoon play). Chorus and orchestra directed by Jimmy Carroll featuring the voice of Gilbert Mack.

SOME INFO I FOUND: The front cover of the LP features original Hanna Barbera animation artwork.Quick Draw McGraw is the anthropomorphic cartoon horse starring in The Quick Draw McGraw Show, the third cartoon television production created by Hanna-Barbera following their success with The Ruff & Reddy Show and The Huckleberry Hound Show. The show debuted in 1959, voice actor Daws Butler performed the lead character, Quick Draw. Michael Maltese crafted most of the episode stories. Screen Gems originally syndicated the series, followed later by Rhodes Productions, Taft H-B Program Sales, Worldvision Enterprises, then Turner Broadcasting, and now Warner Bros. Television (through their 1996 purchase of Turner).

SONGS: A: Quick Draw McGraw, Baby Looey, Super Snooper, Blabber Mouse, Augie Doggie And Goddie Daddy, Ooch Ooch! ouch!, El Kabong!. B: Huckleberry Hound, Mr. Jinks, Iddy Biddy Buddy, Pixie And Dixie, Boo Boo Bear, Yogi Bear, Ruff And Ready, Killer And Diller, Salt Water Daffy, Harry Safari, Ubble and Ubble, Professor Gizmo.

CONDITION: The record is VG+ to excellent on the A side with very light wear, B side is VG with about 10 light scuff marks on it (record dropped with the sleeve on it? might not be audible really) so overall this is in SUPERB shape for a 50 year old childrens records (lots of spindle marks on both sides but the vinyl is still quite shinny). The cover would be excellent if it wasn't for the full seam split down the left side that also goes in about 4" on the top (so VG overall condition for real grading at best) but the cover slick is in superb shape wit no color loss & just light ringwear starting on both sides (this would be beautiful framed) I've seen pictures of this online & they are all very stained & dirty, this is a beautiful copy overall & I'm sure the seams split regularly on this one (pretty heavy vinyl & that old style cardboard stock was very prone to splitting).

THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY ITEM ON EBAY BUT PLEASE READ ALL INFO ABOVE & BELOW BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS, ABOUT 90% OF QUESTIONS I’M GETTING FROM EBAY CUSTOMERS ARE ALREADY ANSWERED EITHER ABOVE OR BELOW OR ON MY SHIPPING RATES PAGE, THANK YOU.

I DO NOT ACCEPT BEST OFFER & PRICES ARE FIRM ON EVERYTHING I SELL ON EBAY.

GRADING:
I pretty much use the Goldmine & Record Collector magazines standards for grading, I can send you a link for details in depth about record/cover grading. I've been selling records & CD's professionally for over 20 years now & I try to be accurate in my grading (read my feedbacks on that, records are always VISUALLY graded only unless stated).

LP SHIPPING + PACKING & VARIOUS INFO:
I use real coated cardboard LP mailers when I ship vinyl & these are very durable. I usually take the records with the inner sleeves out of the covers (unless factory sealed of course) so they don't split the seams of the cover in shipment. Then I put them in a 2 or 3 mil plastic sleeve & then wrap a plastic bag or two around them to keep them from flopping around in the mailer, this method seems to work best since it adds air & almost works like bubble wrap (keeps the LP's usually under a pound & saves a lot on shipping rates worldwide compared to using cardboard inserts), breakage rate has been way less than 1 in 1000 using this method, if I added cardboard it also would make the weight of it more prone to the corners getting dented in transit if dropped. 10" records & 12" singles count as 1 LP for shipping, single laserdiscs count as 2 LP's for shipping (& I pack 2+ records differently & I have oversized boxes for larger packages...don't worry I've been sending out stuff about 5 days a week for over 20 years now & know exactly what I'm doing over here).

All records are BLACK VINYL unless noted & inserts/gatefold covers/posters/custom inner sleeves will be noted in the description if they are included plus promo & cutout marks stated if they are there also. I don't believe in hiding stuff & try to note most everything that should matter to buyers. All 12" vinyl on ebay is automatically listed as 33 1/3 rpm & 7" vinyl as 45 rpm (to save time on listing all this stuff) if you need to confirm speed on a specific item please ask & I can go check.

PAYMENT INFO/RULES:
Please contact me within 3 business days of the end of the auction to confirm you got my end of auction invoice or just pay directly through PayPal at the end of the auction. Payment is expected within 7 days after the auction ends on day 8 I'll send a non payment warning (which means you have 7 days left to make payment once you get the warning from ebay). Positive feedback will be left if you pay me in a timely manner.

SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES:
On this item are listed somewhere on this page, my detailed shipping rates are on a separate page (click on the shipping rates link) if you want to bunch up items to save shipping cost. My shipping rates are cheaper compared to most other full time sellers.

OTHER INFO:
I tend to run a lot of the same bands/type of music at the same time. Most cleared payments go out within 24 hours. I'm working by myself here so you are only communicating with me & not a bunch of people & I'm at my computer several times a day & rarely miss a day checking emails. So expect quality hands on service. Everything you see on auction & in my store is (physically) here with me (& no middleman shipping ever!).
Most my items I list go on auction first & then if they don't sell to my store within a few days after the auction ends (for usually more than my minimum bid so watch my auctions to get the best prices on most of the items). I try to keep 25-100 auctions going at all times there are well over 3000 items in my ebay store now. I very much welcome my foreign customers, a full 1/2 or more of all my ebay sales go overseas now so I've become quite used to dealing with overseas buyers.
