QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE - SELF-TITLED FIRST ALBUM - ORIGINAL CAPITOL RECORDS 1968 STEREO LP ST-2904
· ORIGINAL U.S. PRESSING
· ORIGINAL 'SILVER FOIL' COVER
· NOTE: this delicate, frail, foil-like cover is EXTREMELY susceptible to wear and tear. Practically no copy I’ve ever seen was mint or devoid of excessive ring wear. This one is very close....only the slightest amount of rubbing has occurred over the years.
This album belonged to a Capitol exec who kept this album carefully filed (as he had all of his records filed) and they were virtually never handled over the past 40 years.
· ORIGINAL BLACK CAPITOL LABEL WITH COLOR SPECTRUM ALONG THE EDGE OF THE LABEL WITHOUT `SUBSIDIARY OF CAPITOL RECORDS` INSCRIPTION ON THE LABEL
· THICK CARDBOARD COVER, AMERICAN STYLE.
· BEAUTIFUL, WEAR-FREE LABELS
· THICK, HEAVY VINYL PRESSING
(PLEASE SEE THE IMAGE OF THE COVER, LABEL OR BOTH, SHOWN BELOW)
(Note: this is a REAL image of the ACTUAL item you are bidding on. This is NOT a "recycled" image from our previous auction. What you see is what you'll get. GUARANTEED!)
A true monument of West Coast psychedelia, and probably the Quicksilver's finest studio hour. This is the rare, original pressing in a very nice condition. Not having this album in your collection is a crime against good taste.
THIS IS A NO-RESERVE AUCTION!
I am presenting this record exactly as I found it when I pulled it from a box where it has sat undisturbed for the past 40 years.

A NOTE ON SHIPPING: eBay now requires a "handling time" to be designated. I put 3 days, but in most cases I ship the next day when you pay right after the auction ends. Please keep in mind I have a "regular job" too...and sometimes it gets in the way. Check my feedback if you are concerned about shipping times.
