For this unusual (and now obscure) album, Quincy Jones heads Harry Arnold's Swedish Radio Studio Orchestra. The eight Jones arrangements (some of which would soon be played by his own big band) include "The Midnight Sun Never Sets," "Meet Benny Bailey" and "Doodlin'"; in addition, Arnold contributed "Quincy's Home Again." Among the sidemen are trumpeter Bailey himself (who guests on two numbers), trombonist Åke Persson, altoist Arne Domnérus and pianist Bengt Hallberg. An excellent effort featuring a hard-swinging Swedish band that deserved to be better known in the U.S..

This copy shows some yellowing of the laminated sleeve, otherwise everything is in Excellent condition!
