Side A “We Got Soul”
First up, Quantic drops an infectious dancefloor filler with many layers that will satisfy the needs of the hip hop heads as well as the “goatee stroking” funk diggers. The track starts by fading into the chorus loop and then builds through horn stabs, vocal snippets and percussive elements that all combine to leave you fiending for the next chorus. Being neither straight up hip hop, nor basic funk, Quantic attunes to the Breakin’ Bread vibe.
Side B “Fresh Rhythm”
Next up, Quantic comes with some warm, soundscape vibes with lots of instruments thrown into the track - Hammond riffs, sublime strings and a funky flute breakdown which all fit perfectly. The “Fresh Rhythm” cuts provide the icing on this tasty cake! Pop this one in the car on the way to the club!
