Description
This is a beautiful 1975 UK 1st press (embossed) copy of Queen’s ‘A Night At The opera’ on EMI – ‘one careful owner’ – and it shows! This sleeve condition is easy EX (seen these regularly called NM), with the original rear purchase sticker, some very mild ringwear only noticeable as a white sleeve; with a dirt mark in the lower-right rear corner. Matrices are as follows:
BLAIR'S YAX 5063-2 GL 1 BLAIR'S YAX 5064-2 GL 1
The vinyl is lovely and clean with faint hairlines under bright light but not otherwise.
Welcome to the eBay outlet of Electric Palace Records, Kent's smallest record shop; based in Tenterden.
We price competitively with Discogs (where our handle is 'EPROnline') with the aim of providing premium product at premium value; often offering items at well below market price starting-value. Customers would normally be welcome to collect from our store in Tenterden, as we are always keen to meet like-minded individuals; but currently we only post via safely-packed record-mailer.
Please be aware of our conditions below before placing a bid:
1) We reserve the right to request tracked postage on and add a £2.50 charge to items over £50 to cover postage insurance. 2) International postage currently only via GSP – due to Covid issues causing severe delays within infrastructure.
This is a great example of a desirable pressing, so grab a classic album on vinyl!

1. NM: Record/sleeve will be near-perfect or have maybe very minor scuff/s from being handled a few times or from the inner sleeve (potentially played once or twice).
2. EX: Record will have some minor scuffs and possible more noticeable marks preventing a NM grading; a record that was played very little and has been taken care of.
3. VG Plus: Record will have noticeable scuffs and light scratches from being handled and played, but nothing too deep as to affect playback. May have light background noise in quieter areas but still no major issues; a record that has been played and enjoyed but not abused.
4. VG: Record will have scuffs and scratches from being handled and played, causing noticeable background noise and some disturbances/pops but still enjoyable overall; still a good quality record that can be enjoyed with life left.
5. GOOD / FAIR / POOR: Record will have scuffs and major scratches. Can still be played but will have background noise and most likely major distractions such as sustained pops or skips. Records with this grade are used for rare albums or ones that would be best used only for display.
