Up for sale is a highly sought-after, authentic 1975 UK 1st Pressing of Queen’s magnum opus, A Night at the Opera. This exceptional copy features the legendary "BLAIR'S" runout etching, confirming it was cut by renowned Abbey Road mastering engineer Chris Blair. His mastering of this album is fiercely prized by audiophiles for capturing the massive dynamic range of the original master tapes without losing fidelity.
Detailed Condition Report:
The Vinyl (EX): The record itself is in fantastic Excellent condition. Visually, it retains a deep, glossy black sheen with incredibly clean labels and virtually no spindle wear, indicating it has seen very careful, limited play. It delivers the massive, dynamic sound you expect from a true Blair's cut.
The Outer Sleeve (VG+): The original Garrod & Lofthouse embossed gatefold sleeve is in great shape. There is some minor age-related discoloration against the white background and a slight scuff on the top right where a price sticker was historically removed, but the embossed crest and text remain sharp and distinct.
The Inner Sleeve (VG+): The original custom die-cut picture inner sleeve is fully intact with all four corners accurately clipped. It shows minor signs of handling and slight edge wear typical for heavy vinyl sitting in card stock over the last five decades.
