A nearly flawless example of this vinyl and jacket which scores in the upper end of the near mint scale. Following a light cleaning I played the album through the Grado’s to confirm the caliber of the sound matched the visual inspection and the sound was perfect; once again blown away with the quality of the work at Mofi. The bottom line is that if you are a fan of this album this is the one you need to buy; This cut of ‘Death On Two Legs’ is explosive and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is without compare. I almost can’t believe I’ve just now heard these songs sounding like this This having been said under an examination of the vinyl under intense light does reveal the most superficial occasional surface marks that in no way translated through the headphones; and I was listening critically while at the same time trying to enjoy the dynamics. I am easily assigning a numerical score of 95 to the vinyl. The jacket matches the quality of the vinyl. The original owner retained the Mofi bag with the hype sticker. The seams are all tight and I found no creases. There is a very small indentation on the right side of the jacket (to the right of the word ‘Queen’) that despite being of a minor nature warrants mention. I’ve attempted to capture the quality of the jacket in the pictures and aside from the most nominal wear along the top seam of the front gatefold, within the corners, most noticeably when looking at the back jacket on the top right corner, it is perfect and numerically I would rate this jacket a 95 as well.
