Queen - A Night At The Opera UK 1975 LP EMI 1st press BLAIRS + inner nice Ex/Ex

	£		25
	$		33

Description

Nice clean copy of Queen’s all-time classic 1975 album, containing the hit singles ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘You’re My Best Friend’. This is almost certainly a 1st pressing with YAX 5063-2/YAX 5064-3 matrix numbers – I haven’t come across lower numbers than this. The word ‘BLAIRS’ is etched on the dead wax on both sides, and the inner sleeve has the 1st pressing cut corners.

Sleeve Ex Embossed front cover. In very clean and tidy condition for its age. Some age-related yellowing along the spine and very light rubbing elsewhere.

Labels Ex+ Very clean, no marks or writing. Light spindle traces on both labels.

Inner Ex+ Picture inner sleeve in fine condition. No seam splits.

Record Visually Ex, possibly Ex+, nice shine to the vinyl. No marks seen in normal light apart from a couple of really faint sleeve-removal hairlines, plus a minor scuff at the beginning of Side 1. Fully play-tested and sounds great – clear, detailed and powerful audio with some inevitable light crackle and the odd momentary tick
