Description

An original LATE 1st issue of QUEEN II from whilst charting most likely Summer 1974 [4 months after 1st release]. Matrix 4U/4U - the 1st commercially available cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Please note this is the original 1st issue cover version. Later copies were printed [and dated] in 1975. On re-printing they tried to lighten up the front image - and failed! What you see, here, is the original concept. It is by far the best! We also have the original super delicate inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. All I could detect was a couple of ticks in, perhaps, a couple of isolated spots per side. A few crackles in the early quiet moments of  'White Queen' - no big deal. One isolated pop in 'Some Day'. Other than that the rest of the LP is gonna knock-your-socks-off. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) This original over is one of the truly hardest to find without ageing. That interior nearly always ages. I'm pleased to report this copy is near perfect outside. No creasing or marks - just sheen! The interior has pretty much entirely avoided ageing - impressive. Very little edge wear and sharp openings. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Seems to have completely avoided the ageing process. Two inch bottom edge split [tape repaired internally]
