Description
Original UK 1991 1st press copy of Queen - Innuendo which contains the songs These Are The Days Of Our Lives, The Show Must Go On and more. Their final album recorded not long before Freddie's sad passing which makes it a poignant listening experience.
Mastered by Kevin Metcalfe at the legendary Townhouse studios, this is a Direct Metal Master ( DMM) version which offers superior sound quality.
The vinyl has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and has come up spotlessly clean with a deep glossy lustre. There are four faint marks on Side Two where the vinyl has been " rested" on some kind of stand? but these are not feelable & do not affect playback. Otherwise a few tiny scuffs. Clean labels & spindle holes - graded EX.
Playback reveals a crisp, bold and very dynamic sound, typical of DMM pressings. Blistering and full throttle yet subtle and detailed too with Freddie's unique vocals central in the soundstage. A wonderful listening experience. The vinyl plays through as it should with no jumping or sticking. Some occasional low background noise/crackle in a few places and on the run-in but nothing unusual for vinyl of this vintage.
The outer sleeve is smooth, sturdy & robust with minimal wear to edges and corners. Good readable spine. Some foxing to the front plus light handling marks . No writing, splits, tape or tears.
The printed inner lyric sleeve is present & in excellent condition. We have decanted the record into a brand new poly lined inner sleeve to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
A lovely copy of a hard to find vinyl album, fully cleaned & tested, to own, play and enjoy!
We have taken lots of photos in good natural daylight so you can see exactly what you are buying. Please take a moment to look at the photos as they form part of the description.
