Welcome to one of the most addictive parts of Queen collecting - South Korean LPs. There are 11 different versions of "Jazz". This is the ONLY version to use full colour printing on the outer sleeve - the rest used strange monochrome variation hence the valuation on the Queen database is, with one exception, at least twice all the other versions at £65.
Of all the areas of Queen collecting I've done over the last 25 years, collecting South Korean variants is by far the most rewarding because it is so difficult to find these in decent condition. This is by far the best I've come across and therefore the only one I've purchased.
There is a repro'd-on promo label on the front advertising "Bicycle Race" and "Fat Bottomed Girls" on the album. It mentions "a four color poster of the start of the nude bicycle race". This was never included as part of this independent label offering and hence not part of this auction - presumably, when the album crossed the oceans to reach South Korea, they didn't unpeel this label and just copied it.
There are two versions of this cover - the more common monochrome version and this full colour version. Both have a picture of Freddie, cut out from the background, from the Queen II tour with his fingers stuck in a puzzle. What the design reason and inspiration for this was, I don't know but it makes a dull album cover much more interesting. Particularly unique is the statement at the bottom left of the album cover that the album "contains 'Love Is In The Air' and 'Lost In Your Love', neither of which are Queen tracks!
In my 25 years of collecting, I'm going to miss this one - especially as a fan of this type of release. Good luck bidding!!!

Condition Sleeve - although the paper is of a much higher quality than standard Korean independent releases, it has a grainy feel to it. There is some scuffing on both back and front. The reprographics on the cover aren't great but that will be down to the technology of the time. I would rate it as very good if it were a Western LP but excellent as a Korean LP. Record - The LP itself, although unplayed by me, looks in great condition.
