Queen - News Of The World UK 1977 First Pressing, Gatefold, Vinyl LP VG+/EX
I have for sale a genuine 1977 UK first pressing of News Of The World by Queen in a gatefold non laminated sleeve, die cut inner and printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. This has to be one of the best vinyl lps I have ever heard, old or new.
First pressing with the matrix numbers: Matrix / Runout (Variation 1, Side A Runout): YAX 5355 - 1, Matrix / Runout (Variation 1, Side B Runout): YAX 5356 - 2.
Sleeve is in very good plus condition but I have marked it down from excellent due to some wear to the corners of the sleeve. This can be seen in the images. There is also a mark on the rear of the sleeve that can only be seen in certain light, impossible to photograph. Spine has minimal wear, no crushing and is in excellent condition. Die cut inner sleeve is in very good condition but has a seem split as can be seen in the images.
The record is in superb condition with as new gloss; has been played in the past as its from my collection. Labels are vivid and clean with no marks. Disc lies flat on the platter and sounds amazing!
