PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

RARE Elektra butterfly PRC (Recording Company - Richmond, IN) label suffix and dead wax stamp on both sides and, strangely, a Specialty Records Corporation (SRC) stamp in the dead wax on side 1 as well!!  In all my 40+ years of collecting I have never seen this variant before, particularly on the butterfly label.  Rare as hens teeth.  LP is a beautiful VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs and embossed gatefold cover is VG+ with a hint of ring on the rear.  A VERY nice copy.


I USE GOLDMINE GRADING:   MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
