Queens Of The Stoneage Lullabies To Parlyze. Limited edition vinyl (2004 release)
I purchased this beauty age 15 longboarding through Bournemouth and purchasing it in a record shop. I loved Queens of the Stoneage and as soon as I landed eyes on this with its peach and purple marble finished LPs, I had to have it.
The depth of sound was to good on this when comparing it to the CD album (standard I know)
Since release there have been 3 LP pressing. Most recently 2019. The other in 2011 containing the same album art on the more commonly known CD version.
The first was this edition. AAA 996 USA original print version with awesome unique album art.
This was the album first released after the bands Nick Oliveri (bassist, vocalist, song writer) was booted and Mark Lanegan was absent.
Another sweet touch to this LP is the words Once, You, Were, Lost. Each being found on each side in the centre of the vinyls. These are words from the line in "Someone's in the wolf.
So after 17 years it's time for me to depart from this baby of mine. I cherished it with as much care as I. Could through these years to maintain ita almost new like condition today. I no longer have a turn table to play this on. Therfore it's time for it to depart to another collectors home.
