Looking for this LP in better condition than the copy you have? Haven’t found that upgrade yet? Well, you have now! Here is a GREAT copy of Quicksilver Messenger Service’s first LP by the same name released in 1968, almost 40 years ago!!! This is Capitol ST 2904. Of course, this first LP has the original band members in it. And what a beauty! It is still in the original shrink wrap and this is what has protected this cover for so many years from the wear that normally mars and ruins this LP when you find it. That black cover with silver foil and red graphics ALWAYS showed wear badly once removed from the shrink wrap, unless put in a plastic protector sleeve. But this one has NO COVER WEAR due to the shrink. There is some wear on the shrink that looks like ring wear on the cover, but it is NOT on the cover!!! The COVER is NEAR MINT. (There is some reflection from the camera flash on the shrink wrap, not damage at all.) The only blemish to note is a spot at the lower right corner where the corner is pushed and a small piece of the shrink is torn that allowed slight corner wear to happen. This piece of shrink has been put back in place and taped (to the shrink, not to the cover). The shrink wrap has the breathe holes, so it’s original. VINYL and LABELS ARE NEAR MINT! A GREAT LP and most likely your final upgrade of this LP unless you find a still sealed copy. FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to visually grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. And please check my other auctions for other LPs you may want to add to your collection. Be high bidder on several and combine shipping! Personal U.S. check accepted but item held for 7 business days for check to clear before item is shipped. Add $5.00 for shipping to a U.S. address via media mail with delivery confirmation.
