Description
Happy Trails is the second album by the American rock band. It was released on the Capitol Records label in March 1969. Most of the album was recorded from two live performances at Filmore East and Filmore West. Most of side one consists of a live performance of Bo Diddly’s “Who Do You Love” listed as the “Who Do You Love Suite” with individually titled “movements”. The album was a commercial as well as critical success, hitting #27 on Billboard’s Top Albums chart and being certified Gold by the RIAA. It is among Rolling Stone Magazine’s 500 Greatest Albums of All-Time list at #189. A great record for sure. First press copy from ‘69 here.
