Description
Quicksilver Messenger Service – Same (UK-Psych 10, 1983)
80's U.K. release, a LIVE double-album by premier San Francisco jammer-combo w/ the mercurial guitar-art of John Cipollina; recorded at The Fillmore East in June '68 these jammin' flights shoot sparks from the crystallization point of vivid Acid-Rock; the recording quality is excellent and the FOC design is a beauty; ... a review in the "Village Voice" went like ... "the group raises images of White Spanish missions with red tile roofs in old California, of Wells Fargo, 1865 political corruption and 1965 San Francisco purity still intact. In person QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE is a musical mental movie of the west".(thanks Armin S. for the comment)
Hardly played, M-/M- condition.
