Quicksilver Messenger Service, QMS 1st LP, Orig UK Capitol LP, EX/EX+, A6/A5!
Description
Original UK Capitol label stereo press LP, with the 'Too Long' sleeve note error and the third green Capitol target label variation, with the earliest A-6 B-5 matrices & 1-R 1-G stampers of the later 1st pressings!
The Garrod & Lofthouse flipback laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and light laminate rubbing on the front cover and some light storage rubbing on the rear cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the EMI company inner is intact and in VG+ condition. The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only one or two faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with no evidence of spindle markings on either side. The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief low background noise during the run in grooves and during parts of track one on side two, overall a really great, loud and punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; ST1-2904, A-6 stamper 1-R, ST2-2904, A-5 stamper 1-G. This is one of the later copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1968 UK stereo issue of this album!!All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!!
