Hard to find on an original first issue in this condition, here's a very nice copy of this classic early Motown various artists EP issued on Stateside, R & B CHARTMAKERS on the UK Stateside imprint SE 1009 and featuring 4 great tracks as follows;
SIDE 1: "HEAT WAVE" by MARTHA & THE VANDELLAS and "A LOVE SHE CAN COUNT ON" by THE MIRACLES
SIDE 2: "HITCH HIKE" by MARVIN GAYE and "MY DADDY KNOWS BEST" by THE MARVELETTES
This copy plays perfectly throughout with great audible quality and remains in excellent plus condition with just a hint of light crackle on the run-in and run-out groove and between tracks and with light surface sleeve rubs and the odd surface scuff that does not affect play. It has the 4-prong centre intact and the labels are very clean on both sides with minimal spindle wear. Still paired with it's original picture cover that remains in very clean condition with just a tiny rip on the opening edge and with minimal creasing. It does however sport it's original dealer sticker applied to the rear top right hand cover indicating the original supplying store to be from Denmark. Irrespective, a lovely copy and a perfect addition for the UK Motown collector (see picture scans).
The record has been play graded and is from my personal collection that I'm downsizing so why not check out my other listings for more great sounds.
