Description

For sale is a sealed 1st pressing vinyl release of Number Two by R. Crumb And His Cheap Suit Serenaders (Blue Goose Records, BG-2019).


This release is a 1976 first pressing of the appropriately titled sophomore album from ragtime band Cheap Suit Serenaders.

Led by comic book artist Robert Crumb the sound of the Serenaders while unique in it's own right is very much a throwback to blues bands of the 1920s. Their retro act is similar to "evergreen" jazz standards, western swing, country blues, hokum, vaudeville and medicine show tunes.

Alongside Crumb are Terry Zwigoff (well-known film maker and documentarian) Allan Dodge, Bob Brozman, Robert Armstrong, and Tom Marion.

 




Disc is Sealed and presumed Mint, very rare in this condition!

Jacket is NM with almost no wear!!! (see pictures for specific details)
