Description
I will declare a lower amount on the customs form for all countries so as to avoid/decrease high import charges. However, in the case of the EU all purchases are subject to VAT which eBay collect at point of sale. No shipping to Russia currently.
Radiohead : The Bends A1/B1 2nd Press Original 1995
This second pressing plays with great audio with only a little interference here and there. Mainly some crackle on a couple of intros and fade outs but it does not last long. The vast majority plays with stunning clarity, depth and power.
The vinyl has no spindle wear but there are a few hairlines so I suspect it has been played but not an excessive amount judging by the sonic quality.
The cover is in excellent condition with very little shelf wear and the lyric inner is 'as new'.
So is this a second press or a later first press? I'll leave that for you to decide! It has the matrix info of a genuine first press but as can be seen there is no red pound sign on the labels but the lyric inner does have the 0% in the bottom corner.

Visual description
The vinyl is in in very good / excellent condition and still has a strong glossy sheen. There are some hairlines and what appears to be a small hairline scratch on S2 but this only results in a little crackle. The labels are in perfectly clean with no spindle wear.
Play grading
The intro on 'Planet Telex' has only very minimal light static and then plays with great quality and no sign of any interference. The power and depth of the audio is outstanding and Near Mint is a fair assessment even if the majority is better than that! Just a little crackle on the fade out.'The Bends' also has a modicum of light crackle on the intro and as the volume increases the playback is faultless. The opening vocal has only a couple of barely audible ticks and from then on plays with a clarity and power that belies the age of the album. There is some crackle on the quiet final section so I would say the majority is Near Mint but VG on the intro and at the end.
'High And Dry' plays very clearly from start to finish with no obvious interference. There is a little light static in a couple of sections but this does not detract from the overall listen. Ex+ but very close to Near Mint.
The intro on the classic 'Fake Plastic Trees' plays beautifully with barely any static and from then on it plays very clearly with only a little static here and there. There is a little more in a couple of the quieter sections but it does not last long. Some sporadic crackle near the end but not too much. I would say Ex is about right and then VG at the end.
'Bones' is stunning! It plays with superb power and definition and no distortion whatsoever. As strong a version that you could wish for with just one static tick on the final note. Near Mint
The acoustic intro on '(Nice Dream)' plays with sublime clarity and the opening vocal has just one light tick. From then on the playback cannot be faulted. The sonic quality is so impressive and there are no clicks, pops or static. A superb Near Mint end to the side.

'Just...' on S2 plays with 'as new' clarity from the very first note. The playback is phenomenal and from start to finish there is no 'background' not even a single dust tick. This is Mint in every way a STUNNING version.
The intro and first verse on 'My Iron Lung' play very clearly with only a small number of light static ticks in the background. It continues in much the same way with very little intrusion. A little crackle in the middle section and then the remainder plays with great clarity and power. Overall Ex is a fair assessment of the audio.
The quiet intro on 'Bullet Proof...I Wish I Was' has a little crackle but the music still plays very clearly. From then on it plays with very impressive audio with only some light static here and there, nothing intrusive. Couple of static clicks on the fade out. A VG intro and then Ex+ onwards.
'Black Star' plays with superb audio from the get go - the sonic quality is very strong and I only heard a handful of very light ticks. A 'high end' version that easily grades as Near Mint such is the quality.
'Sulk' also plays with a clarity and depth that can hardly be faulted. In fact there is no intrusion on the audio - a fantastic Mint version with no intrusion.
The classic 'Street Spirit (Fade Out)' plays with exceptional audio. The acoustic intro is flawless as is the opening vocal and it continues to impress on every level. I cannot overstate just how fantastic the playback is! There is no interference and no inner groove distortion either. A wonderful Mint version to end this classic album.
In summary this very early pressing plays with great quality and only minimal interference. A little crackle in 3/4 sections but this is 90s vinyl! Many of the tracks play with outstanding clarity and depth and the two final tracks on S2 are a prime example of that.
The Cover & Lyric Inner
The cover is in excellent condition with very little shelf wear. Only the bottom edge has minor rubbing near each corner and the spine is very clean with only a small number of 'specks'. The corners are in excellent shape also and the opening edge has no handling wear. The front cover is in lovely condition with only very faint mottling on the left side and you can only see this when you hold it at a certain angle. The back cover is unmarked and has just one small corner crease bottom left. A fine example overall.
The glossy lyric inner is in perfect condition with no wear of any kind.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers
This record has been cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
