Description
Up for auction is the amazing soudtrack to the 1981 mega-hit, Raiders of the Lost Ark, from director Steven Spielberg (Jaws, Close Encounters, E.T.) and producer George Lucas (Star Wars, Clone Wars), starring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. The soundtrack was written and composed by super award winning composer John Williams (Superman, Jurrasic Park, Harry Potter) featuring the London Symphony Orchestra.
This limited and numbered full analogue pressing is 180+ pure virgin vinyl and was re-released in 1995 by DCC Compact Classics. It contains over 30 minutes of unreleased tracks not found on the original soundtrack for a total of 80 minutes of music. The gatefold cover features unreleased liner notes and interviews with John Williams as well as rare sketches and photos. This album is STILL SEALED and in perfect shape as if it were just purchased today off the shelf.
