Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

An outstanding copy of this very collectable classic LP. Really hard to find these pressings anywhere- this set plays amazing!

THE VINYLS   VINYL 1.  EX+  STRONG     VINYL 2. EX+ STRONG 

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st UK pressing, AND it is in superb condition, PRESERVED SINCE 1977 with barely a play!-

Both vinyls have retained their amazing glossy sheen and finish. There isonly  afew tiny patches of very light dulling which is only visible under extreme light and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP set of this age.

The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

Both vinyls have a few light whisps and a couple of hairlines, nothing spoils the play and there are no scratches or damage

Both play superb, and there is only the lightest lead in static as the needle drops...Stunning audio sound...

We feel these have ben played no more than a handful of times..and very carefully too!

Overall, a pair of supreme vinyls..

THE LABELS:   MINT-   OYSTER ORIGINALS - One has that typical 'crack' in the paper, which happened to many copies of this presing..

THE SLEEVE     MINT-  STUNNING WHITE AS NEW!

Correct WIDE SPINE Gatefold first issued earliest sleeve by 'Garrod & Lofthouse' --

 This is in super condition, and has none of the awful scuffing on the edges as most copies we see (albeit we see this LP rarely these days)

The edges are all super clean with NO SIGNS OF ANY RUB EVEN!!! - The finish is immaculate.

No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.

THERE IS ONE TINY FEINT THUMB CREASE OF AROUND 2" ON THE TOP RIGHT BARELY NOTCIEABLE..AND NOTHING TO WORRY OVER THAT IS IT!

 All colours are simply glossy and pristine

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with no hint of handling

The open out of the gatefold has no dulling, NO white rub AND THE BLACK INK IS PERFECT!

The spine edge is totally unmarked and all legends are perfect-

A SUPREME SET, AND A VERY RARE ONE TO FIND IN THIS DAY AND AGE IN THIS CONDITION - NOT PERFECT BUT VERY VERY NICE!
